Shadowbeak spawns from Lv50 in the wild, and breeding gives you no shortcut

Shadowbeak breeds from one pair. Your first one has to come out of the wild.

The single parent pair

Our breeding calculator solves every pair in the game and returns one for Shadowbeak. Both parents are Shadowbeak. No other combination returns it.

Breeding power reads 550. The child follows the average of the two parents, so nothing outside the self pair reaches that number. How breeding power decides the child covers the mechanism.

You cannot hatch a Shadowbeak until you own one. Breeding multiplies what you already caught, and it never gets you the first one.

Our spawn summary counts 32 spawn points for Shadowbeak, running Lv50 to Lv80. They sit on the mainland (Palpagos) side and on the World Tree side. Our data holds no alpha record for it.

Lv50 arrives early for a rarity 10 Pal. Catch candidates by level band covers how the pool thins as you climb. The band runs 30 levels wide, and catching one near the floor saves you the gear an Lv80 fight would ask for.

Shadowbeak is nocturnal, though our spawn summary does not mark it night-only. Go out during the day and you still find it (the nocturnal Pals).

Gathering 2 and nothing else

Work suitability reads Gathering 2. Every other job sits empty.

A rarity 10 Pal that brings Gathering 2 to your base is a thin offer. The Pals at the work suitability ceiling ranks each job, and I could not find a reason to put Shadowbeak on that list. Catch one for your party or for Pal condensing.

For condensing, the self pair helps. Filling the fodder count from the breeding farm beats walking 32 spawn points again (how breeding works).

Defense 140 over Attack 120

HP 120, Attack 120, Defense 140. Dark as its only element, size L.

Defense 140 sits above Attack 120. That suits a Pal you send in to trade hits rather than one you build a burst team around. The strongest Pals by raw stats has the full order, and the strongest attacker per element covers where Dark lands.

Food reads 8. Keep Shadowbeak out of your base and that number stops mattering.

I would stop at one caught Shadowbeak. Meet it near Lv50 and it joins your party before you rebuild your gear; the breeding farm can wait for the day you want copies.
