Palworld's Strongest Attacker Per Element: Attack Caps Near 130, Move Power Decides the Rest

Rank Pals by raw Attack alone and the debate ends fast: Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero share the top spot at 150, both Dark element. Put them to work in an actual fight and the picture gets messier.
Our Paldex data covers all 299 Pals, and the top of the Attack ranking bunches together hard. More than 20 Pals sit somewhere between 150 and 130, so once you’re near the top, raw Attack alone tells you less than you’d expect. What actually separates these Pals is the power of the move they learn.
The strongest attacker in each element
Each row shows the Pal with the highest Attack stat for that element, plus the highest-power move learnable in the same element. Attack belongs to the Pal; power belongs to the move. Both figures come straight from the game’s data.
| Element | Strongest attacker (Attack) | Highest-power move in the element |
|---|---|---|
| Dark | Bellanoir (150) | Nightmare Ray (600) |
| Water | Neptilius (145) | Thalassonic Laser (700) |
| Dragon | Jetragon (140) | Beam Comet (700) |
| Ice | Frostallion (140) | Crystal Wing (700) |
| Grass | Dandilord (135) | Toxic Dance (800) |
| Neutral | Hartalis (130) | Sacred Rain (800) |
| Electric | Orserk (130) | Polykeraunos (600) |
| Ground | Anubis (130) | Rocky Impact (600) |
| Fire | Bushi Noct (130) | Fire Ball (600) |
Fire ties four Pals at 130 Attack: Bushi Noct, Ghangler Ignis, Jormuntide Ignis and Blazamut Ryu. Bushi Noct gets the table slot because you can actually catch it in the wild.
Attack bunches up near the top
The high point is Bellanoir at 150, then the field drops to 145, 140, 135 in tight five-point steps. Push down to 130 Attack and the pool of qualifying Pals jumps into the high double digits.
That clustering means comparing Attack point by point buys you little once you’re already near the top. The gap between a Pal in the 140s and one in the 130s runs about 10%. Landing a type weakness, which doubles damage outright, moves the needle far more than a 10-point Attack edge ever will.
Move power decides the real damage
Same Attack stat, different move learned, different damage. The ceiling sits at 800 power.
- Only a handful of Pals learn an 800-power move: Silvance and Dandilord (Grass) with Spore Burst and Toxic Dance, Panthalus (Water) with Aqua Tornado, and Hartalis (Neutral) with Sacred Rain
- Most top attackers top out at 600 or 700 power instead
- Skill Fruits only transfer moves up to 700 power. Anything at 800 stays locked to the Pal that natively learns it
At the same 130 Attack, a Pal stuck with a 600-power move deals over 30% less damage per hit than one that learns an 800-power move. Sorting by the Attack column alone hides that gap completely.
Rarity 20 means a fixed-spawn boss
Most of the table above, Bellanoir, Neptilius, Frostallion and Necromus among them, sits at rarity 20. That tier comes from breeding, raid fights, or a small number of fixed spawn points. You will not stumble into one wandering the map.
If you need firepower now rather than later, the lower-rarity wild options below are the practical route.
| Element | Realistic wild option | Spawn level |
|---|---|---|
| Electric | Fenglope Lux (Atk 115, rarity 3) | From level 57 |
| Neutral | Fenglope (Atk 110, rarity 3) | From level 25 |
| Ice | Vanwyrm Cryst (Atk 120, rarity 5) | From level 23 |
| Ground | Sekhmet (Atk 115, rarity 5) | From level 37 |
| Water | Ghangler (Atk 125, rarity 5) | From level 30 |
They fall 10 to 30 points short of the boss-tier Pals on raw Attack. Catch enough of them in the wild, though, and you can roll for good passive skills to close part of that gap.
Building the team
I settled on one solid attacker per element. Training a single max-Attack Pal loses to a lineup that covers all nine weaknesses once tower bosses start switching types on you mid-run. For a full ranking across every stat, not just Attack, check strongest Pals by stats.
Attack, learnable moves and spawn level for any Pal are all on its Paldex page. Filter the Paldex list by element and you can see who tops your target category in seconds.
FAQ
- Which Pal has the highest Attack stat in Palworld?
- Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero share the top Attack stat at 150, both Dark element, according to our Paldex data. Neptilius (Water) and Necromus (Dark) follow at 145, then Jetragon (Dragon) and Frostallion (Ice) at 140.
- Does a higher Attack stat mean more damage?
- Only partly. The strongest Pals cluster around 130 Attack, so the stat alone barely separates them near the top. The real gap comes from the power of the move each one learns: a 600-power move and an 800-power move differ by more than 30% in damage at the same Attack stat.
- Which strong attackers can I get early just by leveling up?
- Fenglope Lux covers Electric (rarity 3, wild spawns from level 57), Fenglope covers Neutral (rarity 3, wild from level 25), and Vanwyrm Cryst covers Ice (rarity 5, wild from level 23). Their Attack sits 10 to 30 points below the rarity-20 bosses, but catching several in the wild lets you roll for good passives right away.
- Should I chase weaknesses or just run my highest-Attack Pal?
- Chase the weakness first. Type advantage doubles damage, so a Pal with 20 less Attack that hits the weakness beats your strongest all-rounder in most fights. Keeping one solid attacker per element covers more ground than maxing out a single Pal.
