Palworld gets an official card game, launching worldwide on July 30

The Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME goes on sale worldwide on July 30, 2026, with Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese versions arriving at the same time. Bushiroad handles the concept and sales, and the IP comes from Pocketpair, the studio behind Palworld.

The first wave

Three products arrive together on day one.

• Booster Pack “Dawn of Palpagos” (7 cards per pack, 440 yen)
• Trial Deck “Dawn of Palpagos Red・Blue” (1,980 yen)
• Trial Deck “Dawn of Palpagos Green・Purple” (1,980 yen)

Either trial deck is playable straight out of the box. Each one holds a 50-card main deck and a 10-card soul deck, plus a play mat, markers, a counter and one booster pack. Every card uses new, original artwork.

How it plays

It is a two-player game, and you win by cutting your opponent’s life to zero. Whether an attack lands is decided by flipping cards from the top of the deck: if the flipped card shows a lucky icon, the damage is cancelled. The push and pull of those flips looks like the core of it.

Worth noting

Palworld itself is digital-only, so a physical thing you can keep on a shelf is a notable step for the series. Seeing the pals from the Pal catalog redrawn as cards is the kind of hook that gets people collecting a pack at a time, and the two trial decks are built so you can rope in a friend who has never touched a card game.
