Renjishi starts at Lv78 in the wild. Breeding it takes one of 45 parent pairs.

Wild band and 22 spawn points

Our spawn data puts Renjishi at Lv78 to Lv80, with 22 spawn points, all of them on the World Tree side. Walk the Palpagos Islands as long as you like and none will show up.

22 points is a thin spread. Once you can reach the World Tree you will find one, though some trips end with nothing. Alphas spawn there too, so one lucky trip finishes the job. Fold the hunt into the lap we mapped in the World Tree field boss route.

What the 45 pairs contain

Our breeding calculator solves every pair in the game, and 45 combinations return Renjishi. Its breeding power sits at 290, and a fair number of pairs average near that. Some Pals have only a handful of parents, so 45 counts as a wide entrance.

Renjishi with itself works too. Once you hold one, multiplying it costs you nothing extra.

Parent levels in the 12 easiest pairs

Sort the pairs by how easily you reach the parents and look at the first 12. At the top sit Roujay and Bastigor, with wild floors of Lv74 and Lv75. Elgrove Cryst and Eidrolon Ignis also come in at Lv75.

Dupin spawns from Lv55, which sounds early, until you check its partner: Bastigor at Lv75. Eidrolon at Lv65 has the same problem, since its partners live in the World Tree band.

So the parents come together around Lv75, against a Lv78 floor on Renjishi. That gap is 3 levels. The breeding route buys you less of a head start than the pair count suggests.

Kindling 8 and Handiwork 6

Kindling 8, Handiwork 6, Gathering 5, Transporting 5. Kindling 8 runs a smelter at your base, and ore melts at a rate you can feel. Handiwork 6 keeps it useful at a workbench between smelting runs. Combat stats

HP 105, Attack 120, Defense 100. Paldex No. 183, rarity 7. Attack leads, while Defense and HP land in the middle. You catch it late, so it slots into your party as it is.

Which route to take

Breeding earns its place when the hunt fails. Cover the 22 points, come up empty, and go looking for the top parent pair instead. Both searches happen on the same side of the map, so the trip still pays.
